Fülei Balázs zongoraművész

”These songs have touched me more than anything has ever before, and you’ll see, they will touch you too”

… sometimes like this, sometimes like that” is the title of the 4th and also last program of The piano on the focus. This time Balázs Fülei is showing the ”road forks” – those decision situations that accompany the path the pianist and a work of art shares from learning the piece up until the concert itself.

In 1868 the only 25 year old Edvard Grieg spends his summer with his wife, Nina and his two months old daughter, Alexandra in Søllerød, Denmark.

Balázs Fülei's new solo album contains pieces connected to the Moon by Johannes Brahms, András Gábor Virágh, Claude Debussy. As a bonus, there's a record of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata which however - unlike its title - has nothing to do with the Moon.

2016 begins with a unique program: Ravel’s Piano Concerto in D major - that has been written for left hand - is going to be played by Balázs Fülei and the Concerto Budapest conducted by Zoltán Rácz on the 13th of January, at the Great Hall of the Academy of Music.

Three piano sonatas will be played by Balázs Fülei on his solo recital, 10 November, 7 PM at the Marble Hall of the Hungarian Radio.
