In the programmes of the series ’Piano in the Focus’ Balázs Fülei has been introducing the audience to the backstage secrets of concerts for years. On February 15 the topic will be the sound of the piano as after concerts we often hear discussions on the artist’s piano touch. Is it soft or rather hard, or, perhaps singing? What do we mean by the term and how much does it affect the sound? These questions can be answered through the works of Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Ravel and César Franck.
