Each piece draws from a tradition, a world, be it baroque dance, folk music or jazz. At Balázs Fülei’s solo recital – on October 25 in the SZTE Ceremonial Hall – spanning three hundred years, visiting the Hungarian and Norwegian countryside, London palaces and New York bars, we can hear typical works, each linked to a tradition, from Purcell to Liszt to Gershwin.
