Fülei Balázs zongoraművész

Debussy finished his series titled Estampes (Prints) in the summer of 1903.

Each of its three parts evokes a continent or a landscape: the first one titled Pagodes (Pagodas) was inspired by his experiences during the Universal Exposition of 1889 in Paris: Debussy has met there the instruments and sounds of Java and Bali for the first time and was deeply impressed by the performance of Middle Javanese musicians. Balázs Fülei’s solo recital will begin with this piece of extraordinary atmosphere, then followed by pieces by César Franck, Beethoven and Liszt on March 23rd, at the Tatabánya Spring Festival held for the first time this year.
