Fülei Balázs zongoraművész

In 1828 the 18-year-old Robert Schumann, spending some time in Munich, visited the 31-year-old poet, Heinrich Heine who was already quite known and was enjoying some regular income as the editor of Cotta Publishing House. Although they have never met again, the impact of that single conversaton proved to be long-lasting:

Bartók has spent exactly 50 years of his life as an active concert player with 645 concerts in 22 countries of the world during this time.

The first Echo Summer Academy in the Károlyi Castle in Fehérvárcsurgó ended with a concert in an extremely pleasant atmosphere on a hot July evening. On the last day of the six-day masterclass held by Balázs Fülei and his two colleagues from the Liszt Academy all the participants had the opportunity to introduce themselves. A few of them were playing in several productions, e.g. the German pianist, Marie-Luise Bodendorff with whom we clinked our glasses and talked after the closing concert.

The Echo Summer Academy in Fehérvárcsurgó ended with a concert with great success.

The first Echo Summer Academy begins on the 3rd of July in the Károlyi Castle, Fehérvárcsurgó. We asked Balázs Fülei – the person behind the idea who is going to teach the applicants together with his two colleagues, István Varga and Péter Kováts at the Liszt Academy – about the details of the summer academy.

The season of indoor concerts is about to end, to be replaced by music festivals that colour the summer.
