Balázs Fülei's new solo album contains pieces connected to the Moon by Johannes Brahms, András Gábor Virágh, Claude Debussy. As a bonus, there's a record of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata which however - unlike its title - has nothing to do with the Moon.
2016 begins with a unique program: Ravel’s Piano Concerto in D major - that has been written for left hand - is going to be played by Balázs Fülei and the Concerto Budapest conducted by Zoltán Rácz on the 13th of January, at the Great Hall of the Academy of Music.
Balázs Fülei’s new solo album, Visions of the Moon is going to be released at the beginning of December by Hungaroton Label. Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy and András Gábor Virágh’s works were all inspired by the moonlight.
Balázs Fülei has been invited to China for a concert series through the cities of Beijing, X'ian and Taiyuan for the period of 3-11th December. The program involves the works of Liszt, Bartók, Kodály and Schubert.
